Dr. Ran Wolff is a seasoned computer scientist specializing in distributed data mining, privacy-preserving algorithms, and responsible AI. Currently, he serves as a Principal Applied Scientist at Amazon, where he focuses on developing scalable machine learning solutions for complex, real-world problems. Dr. Wolff earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology in 2004, with a dissertation on data mining in large-scale distributed systems. His academic career includes positions at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, and the University of Haifa, where he contributed to research in data mining and information systems.
