Co-Founders of Chybik + Kristof
CHYBIK + KRISTOF is a European architecture and urban design studio founded in 2010 by Ondrej Chybik and Michal Kristof, with offices in London, Prague, Brno, and Bratislava. Their work merges architecture, urbanism, and research, with a focus on the creative reuse of cities and community-centered design. In just over a decade, they’ve completed 20+ projects—including 1,700 homes—with hundreds more in progress. Their portfolio spans housing, public and cultural buildings, and production facilities, including a major arena in Jihlava. Their 2023 monograph Crafting Character debuted at the Barbican, and their work has been featured in Wallpaper, Monocle, and WSJ Magazine. They’ve received over 50 design awards, including the AR Design Vanguard and a Mies van der Rohe nomination.
